The Confidence Toolkit

You're closer than
you think to changing everything.

Something brought you back. Perhaps it was the price. Perhaps you just needed a moment to think. Whatever the reason, we're glad you're here — because this page is going to show you exactly what your child/teen gets, and exactly why this is one of the most valuable investments you will ever make in them.

Every programme is built around your child/teen specifically. From the moment Annette reads your application, she understands exactly what your child/teen is going through and tailors every session accordingly. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here — whatever your child/teen's challenges, Annette adapts the coaching to meet them where they are. Your application is already waiting for her.

Starting from just £395* for four personal 1:1 coaching sessions with Annette

* Payment options available through Klarna, including 3 easy interest-free payments.

4 personal 1:1 sessions, one-to-one with Annette
Delivered via Zoom — no travel, no disruption to school life
Coaching follow-ups sent to you as the parent after every session
Everything that's included

Four sessions. A great deal more than you'd expect.

This isn't a quick call and a handout. Every part of the Confidence Toolkit has been designed to make progress stick — for your child/teen, and for you at home.

What's in the Confidence Toolkit

4 × 1:1 coaching sessions

One-to-one on Zoom, entirely focused on your child/teen

Post-session parent updates

After every session you receive a coaching summary and action steps — so you can reinforce progress at home

Practical strategies your child/teen keeps

Real tools — not theory — that work at school, at home, and in everyday life

Before & after progress measure

A pre-coaching evaluation captures where your child/teen is starting from. After session three, Annette has a progress chat with you to discuss how things are going.

Session recordings — an industry first

No other coaching service does this. Every session can be recorded and a copy sent directly to you, so you can watch it back as many times as you need — to revisit strategies, reinforce what your child/teen has learned, or simply stay close to their progress without being in the room.

Some children and teenagers feel uncomfortable being on camera, and that is completely understandable. Recording is entirely optional. If your child/teen would rather not be filmed, that's absolutely fine — the coaching is just as powerful either way. This is offered as a gift, not a requirement.

✓  Optional — never mandatory
A word on expectations — and honesty

The Confidence Toolkit is a starting point, not a finish line. Four sessions can create genuinely significant change — and many families are delighted by how much shifts in that time. But every child/teen is different, and some will benefit from continuing beyond four sessions. We will never know exactly what is needed until Annette has spoken with you and got to know your child/teen properly. What we can say is that Annette will always be honest with you about what she recommends — and why. There will never be any pressure to do more than is right for your child/teen.

The four coaching focus areas

What your child/teen actually works on

Each of the four sessions focuses on one of these core areas — chosen because they are the foundations every confident, resilient young person needs. And because Annette has read your application, she already knows which of these matters most to your child/teen right now.

01

Confident Communication

Finding their voice — and using it

Communication is the most important life skill a young person can develop — yet it's the one most schools never actually teach. Confident communication isn't about being loud or always having the right answer. It's about knowing that what you think and feel has value, and being able to express it — with a friend, a teacher, a parent, or one day an employer.

Many young people have the words inside them but something stops them getting them out. Anxiety. Fear of judgment. Annette identifies exactly what's getting in the way and gives your child/teen practical tools to move past it — tools they can use straight away.

What this looks like in real life
Speaking up in class without the fear of getting it wrong or being laughed at
Telling a parent or teacher when something is wrong, rather than bottling it up
Saying no to peer pressure — clearly and without guilt
Navigating friendship conflicts without shutting down or exploding
Job interviews, university applications, presentations — handled with composure
Less social anxiety Stronger friendships Better relationships at home More confidence at school
02

Changing Thinking to Improve Outcomes & Opportunities

The way they think shapes the life they live

Every young person has a running internal commentary — a voice that interprets everything that happens to them. For many, that voice has become their biggest obstacle. "I'm going to fail. Nobody likes me. I'm not as good as them." These thoughts feel like facts. They aren't. They're habits — and habits can be changed.

When your child/teen learns to recognise unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with something that actually serves them, the knock-on effect is felt everywhere — their grades, their friendships, their willingness to try new things. Annette uses engaging, age-appropriate approaches that help young people understand how their own mind works, and how to work with it rather than against it.

What changes when thinking changes
Moving from "I always mess up tests" to approaching exams with preparation and calm
Interpreting a friend's silence as busyness rather than rejection
Trying out for a team, a play, or a role — instead of assuming failure before starting
Recovering faster when something doesn't go well, rather than catastrophising
Starting to notice and build on their own strengths, rather than fixating on weaknesses
Better academic performance Reduced anxiety More willing to take healthy risks Greater emotional resilience
03

Self-Belief & Self-Advocacy

The foundation everything else is built on

Parents most often tell Annette this is the area that changed everything. When a young person's beliefs about themselves genuinely shift, the trajectory of their life shifts with them.

Self-belief isn't arrogance — it's the quiet internal knowledge that you are capable, that you are worthy of good things, and that your voice matters. Self-advocacy is the practical extension of that: knowing how to ask for what you need and navigate the world accordingly. Together, these two qualities will shape your child/teen's future more than almost any qualification. The young person who believes in themselves pursues opportunities, recovers from setbacks, forms healthier relationships — and grows into an adult who knows their own worth.

The long-term impact of genuine self-belief
Choosing subjects, pathways, and friendships that reflect who they actually are — not who they think they should be
Asking for help at school without feeling like a failure for needing it
Walking away from friendships or situations that undermine them
Handling criticism without falling apart — hearing it, learning from it, moving on
Entering adulthood with the inner resources to build a life they're proud of
Stronger sense of identity Healthier peer relationships Lifelong resilience Better life decisions long-term
04

Managing Emotions to Gain Strength Through Challenge

Turning emotional storms into inner strength

Unmanaged emotions can wreck relationships, derail ambitions, and leave a young person exhausted by their own inner world. Meltdowns, shutdowns, explosive anger, paralysing anxiety — these aren't character flaws. They're the result of a young person whose emotional toolkit is simply empty.

Annette fills that toolkit. Your child/teen learns to understand what they're feeling and why, regulate their response before it takes over, and use challenges as fuel for growth rather than proof they can't cope. Mental strength isn't the absence of hard feelings — it's the ability to move through them.

The ripple effect is felt by the whole family. When a young person stops exploding at dinner or shutting down on the way to school, the atmosphere at home changes. Parents breathe again. This work doesn't just help your child/teen — it gives the whole family their equilibrium back.

What emotional management looks like in practice
Feeling frustrated at school but choosing a response rather than reacting — and staying out of trouble
Sitting with exam anxiety without letting it shut them down on the day
Disagreeing with a parent without it turning into a screaming match
Recovering from a setback — a rejection, a bad result, a falling out — within hours rather than weeks
Building the mental toughness that every successful adult quietly relies on
Fewer meltdowns at home Better behaviour at school Real mental toughness A calmer family environment

Extended coaching & parent mentoring

The Confidence Toolkit is where most families start. But every child/teen is different — and some need more time, more depth, or a different kind of support.

Six-session programmes

For children/teens who would benefit from more time to embed their progress, all coaching packages are available as a six-session programme. More sessions mean more depth, more practice, and more lasting change — particularly valuable for young people dealing with more complex or long-standing challenges.

Parent mentoring

Sometimes a child/teen's challenges are best tackled from both directions at once. Parent mentoring gives you dedicated time with Annette to understand what's driving your child/teen's behaviour, how to communicate with them more effectively, and how to create the conditions at home that allow the coaching to really take hold.

Once Annette has reviewed your application and spoken with you, she will recommend the programme that is the right fit for your child/teen — including whether extended sessions or parent mentoring would be beneficial. Full details and investment for all packages are discussed personally, as part of Annette's tailored coaching recommendation.
